My Story:

I started at Fazoli's in 2006. At that time I had a toddler (Daphne) and within a year an infant (Xander.) Fast forward many years and my daughter Daphne was hired at 16 years old and worked primarily as a cashier. Eventually she was crossed trained throughout the restaurant and became a trainer. Daphne was promoted to Assistant Manager this past summer. She has referred three new employees since starting here.

My son Xander started at Fazoli's within a few weeks of turning 16. He too followed the FOH learning path and then was cross trained in all positions. He is currently working on becoming a certified trainer. He has referred 2 new employees since working here.

My Story:

As a working member of Shepherdsville I have been able to help out quite a bit with the local high school here. For the past 2 years I have helped our GM Linda with putting together Project Graduation for the local Seniors. We have spent many hours at and away from the school getting things together so that Graduating Seniors have a safe fun place to celebrate graduating. This event is such a great thing for them. We keep them at the school all night with their friends, teachers, parents, and volunteers so that they celebrate in a safe controlled environment. I also have participated in the local high schools homecoming parade promoting Fazolis. I have spent hours making up goodie bags for our catering offers and delivering them to local businesses. Last year as a store I initiated us adopting a family to help with Christmas gifts for their family. I was involved in a food drive for the local nonprofit. I guess you could say I really like to help out.

My Story:

Six years of active duty in the navy. Was in boot camp when 9/11 hit. I was in the 2nd war with Iraq served on 2 ships USS Deyo and USS Bulkley. Went to A school and C school in between commands. Received an Honorable Discharge after 6 years. I got out to help with family issues with my Grandparents.

My Story:

Joined the military in 1989 and was on active duty and trained as an electronic weapons crew member. Held 3 different leadership positions, attended primary leadership courses, promoted to rank of staff sergeant (E-6). Served in Korea and Germany, as well as state side. Was medically retired in 2001 and while I was a part of the military, during service was one if the best times of my life. Till this day, the military offers benefits I gladly take advantage of. One of that was obtaining a cyber security course and an associate degree.

My Story:

I’m Deaf and 68 years old , I have worked with fazolis for 17 years and I work with great people. It’s like a family. I love working here because everyone makes it easy to learn and help out by working with me to sign or write. I have trained everyone to cook pasta and make pizzas for our store and for all new store openings.

I have a Good Happy Family, I’m a Dad, Granddad & Great Granddaddy. When I’m not at work I love to spend time with my family and take our dog around.

My Story:

I like coming to work and talking about Football with my managers and coworkers. I am an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan. I am always early to work. I live at home with my family. I have been coming to work at Fazoli's for over 20 years. I also work at KETCH.

My Story:

I am from Veracruz, Mexico. I came to America in 2019. I like to work. I work 2 jobs. Since working here I have been learning english, how to speak and read. All the people I work with have been very patient and we have a lot of fun too! Today is my one year anniversary at Fazoli's!

My Story:

I started work at the Morehead, KY location almost 9 years ago. Only a few weeks after it had opened. I had previous management experience at another fazoli's but, when I started back I was good with just being an associate. I was quickly accepted in by fellow associate and current managers. I quickly felt at home and my manager side started coming out. I felt like my coworkers were my second family. I was soon promoted back up to management and my team became family members. Fazolis was becoming my home away from home. My fellow teammates have been there for me in good times and in the stressful times. They have helped me out when I needed them. I have recently taken over as GM along with another manager and we work well together to keep things running smoothly. I couldn't imagine working any where else and calling it home like I do at Fazolis. We are one big family!

My Story:

My first memories I have at Fazoli's probably dates back to 2004 when I would come in with my mom. I remember coming in and helping my mom prep pizzas, salads and portioning raviolis. I remember coming in during the new promo meetings and playing the interactive training games with the associates. In 2016 Fazoli's was my first job. I started working during the days learning prep, pasta and front cash. It wasn't soon after starting that I was comfortably working all positions and training to be a crew trainer. In 2018 I became the Pasta Patrol leader for my store, this is where I shined. During 2018 I also became the Catering captain and was in charge of organizing and delivering all catering orders. In 2019, I was nominated for the All American team. I had left my job at Fazoli's in 2020 to pursue my personal goals. In April of 2023 I had returned to Fazoli's as a Shift Supervisor and have loved every moment since. To me Fazoli's isn't just my first job, Fazoli's is my home. I have met some of my favorite people working here. I wouldn't have had the amazing opportunities that I've had if I didn't work at Fazoli's.

My Story:

Jump in your DeLorean with me and rewind 18 years. I'm in high school and starting my first job. I have no idea what I am doing but I put on a smile and "fake it till I make it". Then in the blink of an eye I am the general manager of my location living my best life. I have grown in every way over my 18 years. As a person, as a manger, as a member of my community. I can't go anywhere without someone asking me, "where's the breadsticks?" :) I wouldn't have it any other way.

My Story:

I started working for fazolis in March of 2019 its been a long journey with alot of ups and downs but i could not be happier to be employed with the company. I have worked hard and worked my way up and I am now the AGM of Independence Fazolis. My home store is where I have been from the beginning. I love my team and there are amazing advancement opportunity's and so many things I've been lucky enough to be apart of. This truly is my home away from home my work family has helped me through so many things and my district manager and general manager have been right behind me helping me learn and grow into the leader I've become today. I have hope to one day become the gm of one of these stores so I may help grow others the way my superiors have helped me grow and get to where I am today.

Why Fazoli's:

TI love working for Fazolis. I love our guests and my co workers.I can't retire because I won't have anything to do in my spare time.

My Story:

I started working for Fazolis in Jasper in March 1997. I've been with the company for 26 years.I was promoted to manager in September 1997 . I have regular guests that come to see me. I consider them family.While working here I've learned time management and how to handle stress. I get up 2 hours early to get to work and see my family and friends who truly care about me .

I was diagnosed on December 20,2022 with chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia . On February,16,2023 my cancer doctor told me it was in remission. I go back every three months to have my blood work checked out . On 5/31/2023 I celebrated my 78 birthday. I've been an employee of the month 5 times. I'm a catering specialist at my store. I'm so happy to be a part of the Fazoli's family.

My Story:

I have worked for this Company for 19 years, I also worked for Big Lots for 37 years. I have retired from Big Lots but I decided to stay at Fazolis. I take pride in my job at Fazolis and enjoy working for this Company. I chose to stay because my team was willing to work me the hours I needed. I truly enjoy working with my team they also feel like family. I plan to stay as long as I can get up and continue with my health.

Why Fazoli's:

I enjoy the people I work with the most.

My Story:

I started in February 2018 as a part time employee. I quickly picked up hours and became a full time employee. Within a few months, I learned all that I could learn and became a trainer. From there I used my knowledge and previous leadership skills to help gain a management position. I worked as a associate manager/shift supervisor for a handful of years, gaining as much knowledge as I could. I was then offered the opportunity to join FIT team to help open a store in Pooler, Ga. I had a great time meeting new people and I have learned a lot more about Fazoli's and myself. This was the first time I ever traveled by myself. It was a life changing experience. I have consistently challenged myself, and always continued to try and find ways to better myself as a worker and a human. In August 2022 I was offered a salaried position as an Assistant General Manager. With this promotion, I have been fortunate enough to grow my saving and buy my first home. I never would have dreamed this to be possible. I can't wait to see where these next few years will take me.

My Story:

I started here when they opened and have been an employee ever since. I have grew by learning to do everything in the store except for the managment responsibilities. My general manager has worked with me during my husbands sickest moments and made it possible for me to still earn my hours. All the management team makes this job more enjoyable. We are shown appreciation for our accomplishments. I enjoy talking with the customers and helping out. I am in charge of delivering most of the caterings and have been taught more organizational skills by my GM to make getting them together a lot simpler. I really enjoy all of my co-workers and we are like one big family. We all grieve together and celebrate together. I really love my job and hope to be employed here many more years to come.

Everyday I look forward to working with my team, I enjoy meeting new guest everyday and changing lives one breadstick at a time.

My Story:

I was born into a big family the youngest of 8 kids my mother was a school teacher (Retired) for Jefferson County Schools in Louisville KY. My father was a ordained minister (Baptist), I grew up enjoying participating in my community excelling in tennis and chess at the community center. As a child I never understood the difference between race or the impact it had on peoples judgment of others and how significant race played in the development of our Country. Born in the late '80's and raised in the '90's I was fortunate enough to not experience discrimination as others have years prior. Fast forward to now I love my role as assistant-manager at the store I work at and an active member in my community here in Danville and I'm proud of the relationships I've built with the staff and guest alike. I take pride in being an African - American manager for Fazolis, I feel as if me being a black man has never interfered or kept me from achieving the goals I've set out to conquer! Fazolis has played a substantial role in my life professionally and personally. I'm honored to work for a company that allows me to showcase my skills based on my work ethic and Not the color of my skin.

Why Fazoli's:

My Story:

As soon as I turned 16, I started to look around for a job. After a few months of searching my dad asked me "Why not apply at Fazolis?". So, I did just that and I was pleasantly surprised with how nice and accepting they are. I know I wasn't the easiest to train due to my medical complications, but I think they handled my training very well. They helped me with a multitude of different problem-solving skills and one of the managers at the time even helped me with a bit of homework. They were quite supportive of the employees and the company tries to make the day-to-day tasks a little easier whenever they can. I was first trained in service mainly as a dining room closer, I would also be opening pasta cooker on the weekends. I learned how to clean dishes, cook pasta, clean tables, among other things. As weird as it sounds, I liked it. About a year or so passed by and my General Manager asked if I wanted to move up to being a trainer. Without hesitation I accepted and began my training to become a trainer. I was soon shown how to handle the steam table in kitchen and how to properly cook and handle food safely. After about a week or two, I was fully promoted to trainer. I enjoyed showing new staff how to run their areas as it was also a way to get to know them and help them in areas where they were struggling. I continued to help and train newer staff for about 2 or 3 years until my General Manager offered me a management position. In which I once again accepted with glee. For the next month or two I was taught how to count the money and to make sure the staff are staying busy among other management things. I was always pretty good at math, so I got the counting down pretty quick. I've been a manager for about 3 years now and even to this day I still tell my friends that Fazoli’s is a pretty good job. The Fazoli’s company has done many improvements during the going on 8 years I've been with them, and I am excited to see what others they will make in the future.

My most favorite thing about working at Fazoli's is the people I work with and the managers!

My Story:

Hi, my name is Allye Rosselot, I am a senior at Ripley Union Lewis Huntington High School and Southern Hills Career and Technical Center. In school I excel; I have a 3.5 GPA and I have even earned a science and citizenship seal from state testing. I am in a sports medicine class at Southern Hills Career and Technical Center. I also take a college English class at Southern State University. I will have gained 9 college credits hours in this class that will go toward my goal of a degree and career in the healthcare world. I have made a lot of achievements in my high school career through sports, clubs, and academics. I have played sports throughout high school. I played softball for four years, have been a cheerleader for three years which I have received best tumbler award for 1 year, played volleyball for three years, I was captain for one year, and played soccer for two years, I was captain 1 year and also made All-League for our SHAC Conference. Being on teams has taught me how to work together toward a common goal, and to see and appreciate the skills and talents of my teammates. I am active in the National Technical Honor Society (NTHS) for two years, I have been involved in Business Professions of America for four years, I have been in Drug Free of America for two years, and FCCLA for one year. I have also been involved in the Heritage Festival pageants for three years and even won one year! I was honored to take part all three years alongside the other competitors. I was also in the Aberdeen pageant and placed runner-up. During summer, when I am not in class, I watch both of my little brothers from 7 in the morning until 5:30 in the afternoon to help my mom while she works. I plan on going to college to become either a Radiology technician, Emergency Room Nurse or a Labor and Delivery Nurse I have been employed throughout most of my high school career at Tumbleweed Bar and Grill and am currently working at Fazoli’s. I love the fact that Fazoli's works with my active schedule and very flexible to help me out when something pops up.

Why Fazoli's:

The thing I enjoy the most about working at Fazoli's is connections you can make. Working here is has not only gave me the opportunity to meet new people but become friends and close with people that I would have never known before.

My Story:

Every summer I do a program through my high school called Teen Works. This program is focused on getting teens working and more importantly working in the community. In the three years that I spent doing this program I have done everything from cleaning up the community, help in the local school, and even helping understaffed daycares. Do this program has made me realize that everting you do in the community makes a difference which pushes me to want to volunteer and help more in my community. I started to look for other opportunities to help in my community and found that there where many places that just needed volunteers. During the school year, I will help run our local home sporting events and help with other local event that needs it. Working at these sporting events and other local events I do things like run conations and clean the stadium. During the holidays there are many families that are not able to afford toys and food in my community. At our school we encourage everyone to donate food and toys. Every year I make sure to donate food and toys and always attend the wrapping and handing out of the toys and food. Seeing the difference that I have made in my community I always make sure to encourage my peers and other to also find things to do in their community.

My Story:

Retired from the Nebraska Air National Guard; serving for 20 1/2 years. Deployed 4 times to assist in various operations. I Loved the experience, and have been able to use those experiences in the civilian world. Was in services (food, lodging, fitness, recreation, and mortuary), and eventually became the Assistant Dining Facility Manager in the Nebraska Air National Guard. That experience allowed me to be hired as a hourly associate manager, and from there to start the process to promote.

My Story:

Don was one of my very first hire back in 2014. Given his military background he is the best pasta cooker I've ever had! He trains as many new people on pasta as we possibly can. I never have to worry if they are learning correctly because I know they are. When not cooking pasta, he works steam and helps train those in that position as well. He comes into work in a positive mood and armed with a few jokes that he was saving to share with us.

Don served in the Army from 1978 to 1998. During that time he served as a Tank Commander and had several roles as he moved up the ranks from Platoon Leader to Assistant S3 at the Brigade Head Quarters. In 1990, he was in Iraq. He shared with me that he never saw combat but came close in the 1st Iraq War. He would tell me some stories about his time there.

Now when he isn't using his military training to train people on cooking pasta, he is rebuilding electric cars and trains in his basement. He enjoys sharing those with his son and saving some for his new grandson, Marshall Walker Young, born on September 10th.

Don has is a very valuable member of my Fazoli's Family and we love having him with us.

My Story:

Kevin Barker has been an associate of mine (Malesa Linn) since we opened the doors in 2014. He is a very dedicated worker for over 7 years now and LOVES being Tony Tomato anytime we get the chance. Just recently, he was Tony for the Children's Advocacy where he wore the costume for 1.5 hours outside in the summer heat! He enjoyed every minute of it. He enjoys working in the dining room and talking to the kids.

Kevin lives at home with his mom and helps take care of her. He is a dedicated church member and is always willing to help out in the community. His love for Fazoli's and for Morehead is unquestionable and I value him as a part of my team forever. A 51 years old Rowan County native, he is known and loved by the entire community and I'm very proud that he calls Fazoli's his home away from home!

My Story:

You could say that I have grown up around Fazoli's, my parents both work for the company. My home store is Stellhorn Road in Fort Wayne, Indiana, but I also help out at the Coliseum location when needed. I have worked at Fazoli's for a little over a year. I started during the pandemic when the YMCA that I worked at halted swim lessons. I was born with Proximal Femoral Focal Deficiency, or PFFD, causing me to be missing my hip, knee, and femur and my left side. I had surgery when I was five and have always walked with a prosthesis. I like the friends that I have made at both locations, it is nice to work at a place where you can also have fun. I also appreciate the flexible schedule. I keep busy with college classes, swimming, and coaching young swimmers. It is nice to have a job that works around other activities. I am studying Biology at Purdue-Fort Wayne with plans to go into Sports Medicine or Physical Therapy. I train year-round with a local swim club and am also rostered to the Team USA Paralympic Swim Team. I placed 4th at the Pan Am Games in Lima , Peru ...just off the podium and have swam in Canada, and stateside have been to Cincinnati and Indianapolis multiple years as well as Colorado, Texas, and Arizone with my next trip being to Tijuana, Mexico in October for another Para World Series event; so again I am grateful for the flexible schedule.

I love working with my crewmembers; We are more than just a team, we’re an amazing family!

My Story:

I started working at Fazoli's when I was in a really rough place. I was between homes and I was trying to set my life straight. I started working washing dishes, and as I got more familiar with the work environment I slowly began to transition into the kitchen. Currently, I am the main steam line operator for the evenings. Everyone here at 5289 has become like a second family to me, and it makes the restaurant feel like a second home.

My Story:

I started working at Fazoli's part time while I was taking college classes. After a year and a half working as an associate, I was promoted to Associate Manager. In October 2019 I was promoted to General Manager, and took over my store. Within my first year as GM I had a car crash into my building, a global pandemic shut down and experienced a change in ownership when my franchise owner sold the store to corporate. In the time since my team and I have beat 5 sales records, and brought our store from the bottom of the Balance Score Card, to the top. Our store was #1 in the company YTD last month, even though we did slip to #2 this month. I have met and mentored many people through out the years and can genuinely say I enjoy working beside them.

Why Fazoli's:

Fazoli's is my second family. I've gotten to meet so many wonderful people since I started at Fazoli's. At work they call me their "Momager." Over my 16 years I watched co-workers that I hired as high school students grow up and get married and start families of their own. I've even had several people that have met their spouses working for me at Fazoli's. One couple currently has their first child on the way! Even though neither one of them work for me anymore, they are still regular guests; I guess we have another Fazoli's fan in the making!!
I love the family atmosphere not only within our team, but also with our guests. I've seen kids that participated our Kid's Night Activities grow-up and before you know it they're old enough to become regular guest's driving their friends here for lunch during their school lunch hour. I've also dad the opportunity to hire some of our regular guests, they have been fantastic members of our team. I have lots of older guests that escape our bitterly cold winter Wisconsin winters and head south for several months, when they come back it's like having a family reunion in the spring!
For me, it's all about the people. The relationships I have built over the years are what keep me motivated. It's one of my selling points when I'm interviewing candidates. I love my Fazoli's family.

My Story:

After graduating from the University of Wisconsin Stout in 1998, I worked for a burger franchise for several years. I worked my way up with them to an Area Supervisor role, but being a vegetarian at the time, I knew that it probably wasn't going to be my final career choice. I found myself looking for another company that aligned more with my lifestyle and had a strong emphasis on work/life balance. I saw an recruiting ad for Fazoli's on a local job website and decided to give it a try. My husband and I loved the Cheese Pizzarino Combo.

Needless to say it was a great interview! I was hired as an AGM and started learning all about pasta. I noticed right away what a great reputation Fazoli's had in our community. Whenever I would tell people about my new job they'd instantly reply with "Oh... I loooovvve Fazoli's." I have a lot of pride working for a company that gives back to their neighbors.

I took every opportunity that was presented to me including trips to Lexington to become a certified trainer. I also became a dual role ServSafe Instructor and Proctor early on in my Fazoli's career. As a result I have gotten to meet leadership teams from other restaurants in our Wisconsin districts and other states. Even during the height of the pandemic I figured out a way to hold online ServsSafe classes so we could continue to develop our management teams safely. I have also been able to travel to other restaurants to help out, this has allowed me to meet even more of my Fazoli's family.

Fast forward several years, I was promoted to General Manager of the Eau Claire Fazoli's. I really enjoy managing one of the busiest locations in the company. Every day I get to meet new people and connect with our guest. I do "get recognized" when I'm out and about, it makes me feel like a celebrity sometimes! I am so glad to have had an impact on so many lives in our community. It's been a great 16 years and I am looking forward to whatever comes next with Fazoli's!

Seeing as though Fazoli's is the first job I've ever had, I walked into it slightly blind and unsure of what to expect. Throughout my time here, however, it has turned out to be the perfect place and I am pleased with the outcome! I couldn't have asked for a better introduction into the workforce. Here at Fazoli's, I have learned the importance of leadership through my management position, I have learned how to handle people more efficiently through guest service, as well as learning how dependable the employees here can be. All three of these aspects are extremely important for the sake of teambuilding and the functionality of Fazoli's as a whole. Overall, this has been an incredible first job and I am more than happy with my decision to be here!
