Helps her mom take care of her older disabled sister

Helps her other sisters out by volunteering to watch her nieces and nephew when she is oﬀ so they don't have to pay for child care

Helped a clothing drive by going to her entire family and getting them to go through their closets

Helped to fill the toys for tots bin this year by getting all her family to pitch in

Stepped up to help her mom financially after her hours got cut at her job

Has helped her friend promote her nail business to a place where she is able to support herself with it

helps her elderly neighbor carry in groceries once a week

She also helps the parents in her neighborhood by oﬀering to help get their kids oﬀ the bus after school and making sure they are okay until they can get home

She is a very caring friend

Pitched in to get a fellow team member new work shoes when he couldn't aﬀord any and his were falling apart

About

Shanechia is such a great member of out team here. I am so lucky to have her because she really helps contribute to our positive atmosphere here. She comes in with a smile and is so positive. She is definitely one of the people you get excited to see on your schedule because you know not only will your shift run smoother but you will also have fun while working. She is great at being able to make those around her laugh even when it is really busy and they look like they might start to get a little stressed, she is able to make them smile. She is just genuinely a helpful person, when she is working she is the first to see if anyone else needs anything. In her personal life she is always helping someone. She comes from a pretty big family, but you can tell she is the one that they all can rely on to help with whatever they need. She made the second string All American team last go around and was so proud of that. She loves to tell people about it when they ask why she has a special shirt. I think it would be an even greater joy for her if she were able to make it to the first string.
