Personal Actions and Accomplishments

She moved in with her mom because she has a disabled older sister who has to have 24/7 care and she provides a big help to her mom by giving her some nights oﬀ or watching while she goes to the store

She got a second job (that works around her schedule here) to try to make extra money to help her mom pay bills since their rent went up

When she does have days oﬀ of work she often helps two of her sisters by watching their daughters while they go to work so they don't have to pay for child care for that day.

She has a friend who is struggling trying to start her own nail business so she made some business cards for her and lets everyone know about her and has really helped her business grow

She donates a lot of games to the toys for tots every year

During the snow we had last year she was a part of a group who delivered hot meals to the homeless around Murfreesboro

She helped her neighbor with a clothing drive they were doing at their church by getting all of her family and friends as well as everyone at work to go through their clothes and find things to donate

She often helps with her neighbors in her apartment complex especially her elderly neighbor when she goes to the grocery store and has to carry in all the bags

Donated to the rockvale track team to help them raise money to help get them to a tournament

Went and got hats and gloves for the kids in her complex last week when the snow/ice storm happened and she saw them outside on the playground without any

Has been with us almost 3 years

Was the winner of the ppe bingo competition we had

Has received multiple 5 star reviews on how good her guest service is

Has been employee of the month 3 times in the time she has been here

Was a part of the crew that helped us become a training store

Is always on time and in correct uniform for every shift

has only called out once the entire time she has been here

Is always willing to help out if we need anything covered

About

Shanechia came to work here almost 3 years ago, because her older sister has worked here for 5 years and recommended her. This doesn’t always work out but with Shanechia it has been such a wonderful addition to our team. She definitely has a diﬀerent personality than her sister but shares the same great work ethic. She comes in with a smile and has a way of making everyone around her smile as well. She really works hard at everything she does and has even recently gotten a second job to help her mom at home make ends meet since the rent went up and her mom isn’t able to work because she has to give constant care to her older sister. Even with all of this she stays positive. She really cares about those around her, she is always looking at doing anything to help her family, friends, neighbors even her co workers. We don’t get new team members that often but when we do I love when Shanechia is assigned to train them. She really takes it seriously, but is really good at making it fun and making them comfortable while showing them the correct way. I think trainers like her are the reason I am lucky enough to have a low turnover. I am very lucky with the team that I have and they all have their own traits that make my store the place that it is, but in my opinion it would not be the same without Shanechia.
